About the Author
Much like Kaitlin, the books’ narrator, Harper isn’t native to London, but has nonetheless spent a number of years living there. And on discovering the converted warehouses and cobbled streets of Shad Thames it wasn’t too great a leap of the imagination to believe that characters such as Jack, Jamie, and Kaitlin would choose to live there. The coffee shop and the Italian place that feature in the books are real enough, so if you share the trio’s tastes and you find yourself in that part of the city, you should do a little detective work of your own.
